We fell in love with this small, charming town. To me, Mount Dora really brought home the Old Florida moniker. It’s often called “Real Florida” or “Old Florida” – beauty and allure that pre-date Disney or Universal by decades. Lake County, Florida is home to over 1,000 lakes and it’s the geographical center of the state.
